Lead System Management Infrastructure Tester 

Description

Systems Management Lead Test Engineer who:

• Applies extensive expertise in Integration and Test
• Solves complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
• Performs work with minimal direction and is reviewed each month or longer
• Can make sound decisions that result in an organization achieving critical organizational objective
• Ensures security of data, network access and backup systems
• Identifies specific problem areas and implement strategic solutions

Tracks and manages assets, information security and control structures

Required Skills

Must have:

• More than three years of network and/or server administration experience, preferably virtualization
• Experience and understanding of switches, routers, firewalls
• Knowledge and experience with load balancers
• Knowledge of databases and business intelligence.
• Asset and Network management systems including infrastructure monitoring software
• Experience in managing multi-site infrastructure
• Proven track record in identifying and implementing major system change and improvements in line with business expectations.
• Experience managing disparate IT team members and managing external solution providers for onsite service
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows Server, MSSQL, Office365 and file and print services

Preferred Skills

• Experience with combined set of hardware, software, networks, facilities, etc. , in order to develop, test, deliver, monitor, scale and control or support IT services.
• Leadership experience with problem identification and Bug Tracking/Reporting/Escalation
• Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and be flexible within a fast-paced environment
• General knowledge of some programming languages (Node.js, Java, .NET, etc.)               
• Application database and integration across computing platforms
• Expertise in system design, analysis, strong input into the technology phase of the organization.
• Scripting (VBScript, Perl, Python)

Experience

Minimum eight (8) years of experience with a bachelor’s or five (six) years of experience with a master’s testing activities.
