Database Analyst (Software Tester)

Description

Software Tester/ Database Analyst who:

• applies extensive expertise in software testing
• solves complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity

• makes sound decisions that achieve critical organizational objectives

Can function in project leadership roles and represent prime customer contact on significant         technical matters.

Required Qualifications

Must have:

• Working knowledge and experience with MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• Working knowledge of account administration and user management in MS SQL Server and Oracle.
• Strong knowledge in SQL Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML).
• Working knowledge of database backup, recovery, and security.
• Working knowledge of database concept such as procedures, functions, views, keys, and indexes.
• Proficient in designing, creating and debugging stored procedures.
• Create and execute SQL scripts to be used for test validation.
• Work directly with databases to verify data using SQL queries.

Experience

Seeking 6 years of experience in data administration and/or performing software testing activities, with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 4 years of experience in data administration and/or testing with a Master’s Degree
